This variety is native to Rafelcofer (Valencia). It emerged in the early 1980s by spontaneous mutation of the Valencia Late variety. It owes its name to its discoverer Vicente Barber. They have no seeds, are very tasty as a result of the perfect balance between its natural sugars and acidity levels, providing a high juice content in every fruit.
